The IFLA Europe regional conference took place 1st of June featuring speakers from Germany, Hungary, UK and Romania. Next day a treasure hunt was organised, accompanied by a Pecha Kucha session and the general assembly. In the conference particularities relevant for Romania were presented, such as the Europa Nostra winning project on Transylvanian castle gardens by Albert Fekete from Hungary and the Colentina Le Notre forum by Ellen Fetzer, apart of the local talks regarding Romanian treasures, closed by a talk invited on the architecture - landscape architecture communication. The treasure hunt and guided tours (City history, The communist Bucharest, the bourgeois city, Urban ecosystems in central area, Calea Victoriei, Historical gardens) further deepened these topics by showing the cultural landscape of Bucharest.
The meeting was organised by the Romanian Association of Landscape Architects (Asop).
