Weihnachtsmarkt Baden-Baden Kurpark
The city of Köln (Cologne) features several Christimas markets, near the dome and in other places, each with its own design.
In München (Munich) the Christmas markets are also spread in the centre and also in the english garden, thematically (for example Middle Ages). Similar is in Heidelberg.
Baden Baden, the resort, has a Christmas market in the park around the Kurhaus.
In Rastatt and in Bruchsal they are connected to the baroque castles there.
The former cultural capital Sibiu (Hermannstadt) in Romania continues the Christmas tradition with an impressive market.
Apart of the market itself the cities transform for winter with ice skating places and night lights. In Bucharest particularly the lights over the main boulevard are impressive.
