Speaker information
Jeroen de Vries graduated as a landscape architect at Wageningen University with a specialisation in landscape design and ecology. He combines working as a professional practitioner with education. His personal mission is
to foster quality of outdoor space by consultancy (DG Groep), education and research (VHL University of Applied
Science) especially by promoting sustainability and ecological quality. He supports landscape architecture on a European level by serving in the recogition panel of schools for EFLA (1997-2005), as a member of the Excecutive Committee of ECLAS (1997-2013, president 2004-2009) and board member of the LE:NOTRE institute. He is member of the working party of sustainable urban development of the Netherlands National Landscape Architecture Association (NVTL). Jeroen de Vries is a landscape architect registered by law, member of the NVTL and ASLA International member.
